re go crazy cockpit, i would be really interested to see how changes in cockpit have altered layout below and would appreciate seeing pics, it sounds like those changes must have increased room below significantly, possible room for double birth at rear with extra storage bridging engine compartment, has there been use of strengtheners around that area? ? how do u think this has affected balance ie weight of crew higher up in boat as cockpit raised, do u use dodgers and spray hood to keep out of the weather ? do u think rigidity of boat is altered. i look forward to hearing from u regards phil/ geligknight

Hi Phil, Re: Go Krazi. The cockpit sole is about the same level as the top of standard GK seats - so we sit on deck with tiller extension or snug down just sitting on the sole - surprisingly comfortable!! We store the Mercury 3.3hp under the sole (from down below}. We have a comfy double berth across the cabin just inside the companion - made up when needed - otherwise she basically has a port quarter berth, starbord settee berth, galley in normal position, two bulkheads with loo and storage in between and two berths forward which we use for sail storage. We have a very practical and pleasing spray hood, the dodgers we do not use at present (sprayhood down generally when sailing). The boat seems well trimmed/balanced where ever we position ourselves. The hull seems pretty standard - different keel though. She sails well in all conditions and never ceases to put a smile on our faces!!!! Sincerely Dawn & Anthony
