Hi All,

Have a look at my new fabricated stanchion bases - Mk II will have a drop-nose pin instead of S.S. grub bolt.

About 30 quid each from some bloke with a back street engineering shop in Singapore.

Better than the originals I reckon - & same hole centres.

Thought you might all be interested as a case study in more bodging...

Yep thanks Gordon - Tried F4 - they wanted over 50 quid to send one to Singapore, as did most online yacht jewelry stores... and have limited opportunity to get things put in peoples luggage from the UK.

I also think the hole centres are slightly different - didn't want to make the deck resemble a tea bag - weak enough already.

Next is to get bigger backing plates to stop the deck flexing.
