Having just joined the Association, I'm rather bemused by the number of GKs calling themselves GateKrasher.

I bought my own GK (yes, GateKrasher) direct from Westerly some 24 years ago. It was their campaign boat with numerous fitted extras and an impressive racing record. She has a hull number of SOU126977. I'll dig out my original documentation when I've a moment.

There was also, I recall, a GateKrasher II around at the time... perhaps they mated?

Not sure, but i've owned Gate Krasher IV since 1991, and know she was called that for at least 4 years before that.

I also know that there was a Gate Krasher in Hartlepool in the late 80's / early 90's (my Gate Krasher's mast came from her second hand), and that subsequently the same Gate Krasher ended up down here in Plymouth.
