Hi, I thinking of buying a GK with a friend of mine and although I'e seen many sailing or in mariners over the years neither of us have been onboard one, can anyone help us by letting us have a look around there boat before we start traveling miles to view any, we both live in the south essex area but don't mind traveling a bit.

I have a GK24 in fairly reasonable condition on the south coast, ashore until 14th April, they also have another for sale in the same yard if you wish to come down and visit

If anybody needs to , I could arrange to show them around Forethought - I live in sight of her river mooring and can manage most summer evenings .

But she's not for sale

If they want to come sailing on a GK24, then I will be club racing with available crew spaces almost every Wednesday until late August leaving Hamble Public pontoon by the Bugle at about 1750, returning by about sunset.

Thanks for that, I'll try and get together with my friend and make some time together, in saying that we saw one in Burnham marina on sunday and he was quite impressed with it, so we may be able to go ahead and start looking for a boat of our own very soon.

the boat is stored in Thornham Marina, Thorney Road, Near Emsworth, Hants and is for sale with Chichester Brokerage, its on the YBW website if you want to search for Westerlies around 7m
