What happened to your summer??

We tried and tried to get out of Chichester harbour so many times this year, but on most occassions it was either too wet or too windy at the bar. Did you have the same experience? Were you weather bound this year? going to to try again in a couple of weeks so give Galloping Khaos a good wave and a well done for actually making it to sea if you see her

Looking back over the season :

only two cruises with overnight stops : one abandoned because of northerly wind in Cowes stopping a return to Hamble.

Three Wednesday evening races blown out
One evening race windless


Didnt use the boat much so taking it out for a 'summer scrub' actually replacing P-bracket didnt feel like I was losing any sail time. Even rented a holiday cottage in Devon instead of taking a sailing trip.

So a 2 1/2 week slot booked for sailing turned into a day kayaking on the Exeter Ship Canal and a day on a horse drawn barge at Tiverton.
