Does anyone now how many square M a Masthead Spinnaker is? Because I just purchased the GK and dont know it. And I didnt measure the boat officially yet so does someone know the ORC handicap with a inboard with a 3 bladed screw? Thanks if u know, i will be measured up next year

I've just had a new one made which my sailmaker measured at 44.39sq.m No idea if it's 'within class' or standard, but I suspect it's oversized (it hangs below the pulpit top rail and is big across the foot - and it just looks big). No info. on ratings I'm afraid. Cheers, Keith in Singapore Slingshot - starting to look a bit better...from a distance...

Minx's IRC spinnaker area is 39.24. In theory or at least old system rated on maximum of three measurements, Max width/1.8 = genoa perpendicular/1.5 = spinny pole length which in old month was 18ft, 15ft and 10ft respectively. Minx's IRC for two bladed feathering prop is 0.836. Chris Hawkes, GK24 Minx GBR3387T
