Anyone got any ideas which alarm lamp relates to what on this engine control panel? mine aint marked and I seem to have a spurious (I hope) and intermittent alarm going off. On my small panel, mounted on the transom port side, the key sits in the middle with two warning lights and an annunciator.
Neither light is marked and I am guessing one is oil pressure and the other "no charge" from alternator? (unlike volvo who seem quite happy and unalarmed at excessive charge!! :wink: )
Manual ordered but on long delivery so any help gratefully received.

Just had a look at http://motoren.ath.cx : they have downloads for the MD5A users manual - I suspect the lights and sounder mean the same on this model's control panel.

Slingshot - same engine but its just spat the dummy - has an amber to say charging, and a red to say low oil pressure.

Amber stays on when running (seemed odd at first, but now makes a bit of sense).

Alarm doesn't work of course !

There's another one (green I think) which we reckon is cooling temperature) but no real idea.
