we are quite new to racing cruisers ( used to one class designs with set rules !!! ) We have had a good season this year but our spi size has let us down ( it seams very small ) we are just wondering what the biggest size spi we can have that allows a decent rating or any advice ?

depends on fractional or masthead. Normal MH is 41m2 where as Minx's is 36.54 and still a handful off the wind but upright and going in right direction is faster than otherwise! Chris Hawkes GBR 3387T Minx Chris Hawkes, GK24 Minx GBR3387T
