The first day of racing in this series was a bit of a washout as far as GK24's were concerned. Thick fog engulfed the eastern solent and caused a delay in racing with a start in the early afternoon. Only one of the two races ran with around seven boats (no GK's) on the water. A simple windward - leeward course was set but the competitors had to use GPS coordinates to locate the marks,

It is hoped that the next Saturday of racing (2nd April) will see the GK24's out in full force.
