Pilotboat damages Going Krazy beyond repair |
|
Ruth and Brian Jones and understandably upset that their GK24 "Going Krazy" has been damaged beyond repair by the Milford Haven Pilotboat; Robert Hastie. From the report in Practical Boat Owner (issue 466 October 2005) it appears that Going Krazy had broken her moorings and was drifting toward the main channel when the incident occured in the middle of the night.
How Going Krazy came to be drifting is a mystery at this time as there is no damage to the mooring buoy, lines or shackles. The night on which the accident took place is reported to have been calm with very good visibility. The Milford Haven Port Authority will be investigating what occured with help from Milford Haven VTS. For more info see the October PBO |
